Hello, my name is Emily, I use she/they pronouns, I hold an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University, and I have been looking forward to working with you for quite some time. Whether you are seeking therapy for yourself, your relationship, or your family, I am ready to explore your needs, your goals, and your world with you. I know how scary this can be; I am already proud of you for getting curious about how therapy could be helpful, and I will be with you as we walk this path into your empowered life.

I am passionate about creating a space together in which you will feel safe and brave. My aim to be radically inclusive means to me that I am constantly learning about the various ways that race, culture, gender, religion, ability, socio-economic status, and so many more aspects of a person's identity affect the way they move through the world. I balance what I have learned with the knowledge that you are the expert of your own experience, and our work together will honor your perspective, voice, and identity.

In addition to my experience at Regis, I have received advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and enjoy applying this learning to children, adolescents, and adults at all stages of life. EFT provides a relational lens to understanding the dynamics that people find themselves in, as well as a map to new relationships with others and themselves. Within the EFT structure, we will collaborate to help you achieve total transformation.

When I am not working, I am an avid hiker and yoga practitioner. I love to watercolor paint, play with my cat, drink coffee with friends and cook with my partner. I grew up in Minnesota and enjoy spending time on the water, though the mountains now have my heart. I look forward to meeting you and learning about you in return.
